Nominations for the Royal Photographic Society Awards are now open. The RPS Awards recognise individuals working across: both the art and science of the still and moving image; working within the promotion of photography and within photographic education; and working in furtherance of the aims and ambitions of the Royal Photographic Society.
Nominations will close on Sunday 23 August 2026.

Featuring the powerful work of 48 international photographers, selected from over 5,200 artists, exploring themes of environmental issues; identity, conflict, memory, community, family and culture.
As part of World Photography Day 2026 we're inviting all current members to submit an image in the theme 'The photo I keep coming back to' to be feature.
The winner and highly commended entries will be announced on World Photography Day, Wednesday 19 August, and showcased in a gallery on our website and across our social channels.
This bursary will provide £3000 to a photographer aged 30 years or under to deliver a photography project responding to the theme of ‘sporting endeavour’.
